On My Mind:

Many strange things have happened over the course of this week.

As I turned up the heat on a particular person, the heat was, in turn, turned up on Keith's family, thus making my job all the more difficult.

Where does this leave me as a blog poster? And more so, where does this leave me as a truth-seeker? A vigilante, vanilla-by-day, hard-ass by night, self-proclaimed cop?

It leaves me nowhere.

I am stuck.

As much as certain members of Keith's family and I want to press forward with the release of names, the showing of documents, etc., the truth is, there's a realistic danger afoot. Due to the lack of justice in Keith's case, the very people who played a hand in murdering him are still allowed to walk the streets, serve our meals, teach our children, paint our nails, and yes, even write us a ticket as we park illegally.

And there's and even larger point to be made here, a lesson, if you will. The wrong classification on a death certificate can cause a myriad of danger and difficulties beyond imagination.

In the Keith Warren case, several dangerous people with the propensity to perpetuate homicide are still on the loose, America is now under the impression that TCE 1-1-1 is a normal substance to be found on a dead body, Keith's family continues to receive threatening phone calls and messages, the Montgomery Co. Police Department has walked away blemish free, and Keith's name, and this one actually bothers me the most, has been tarnished with lies and rumors that he was suicidal and meant to take his own life. This is not to say that people who genuinely are suicidal bring shame to their families, as this is not what I believe, but more so that Keith, who could not then, nor can he now, speak for himself. He's been left with a great divide of Americans believing a completely conjured story, a farce.

Altogether, for those of you who check this blog frequently, be advised that this case is a fight for more than finding Keith's true killers. It's a fight for cases that have been named improperly because people are too tired, lazy, or underpaid to get it right the first time. We have to take a stand so wonderful people like the Keith Warren Family do not have to face another day of fear, frustration, or injustice again.

But I cannot do it alone.

Leave your thoughts, ideas, comment, etc.

A personal post from Sherri Warren:

Keith Warren died in Silver Springs, Maryland in 1986, one month away from starting college. Paramedics found Keith in a wooded area behind the family townhouse, hanging from a tree by the neck, bent double with his weight.
After a ‘very’ brief investigation, the authorities concluded that Keith had committed suicide despite the fact that rope was tied around the bigger tree to support the smaller tree, how can a suicide victim tie ropes around two separate trees and hoist themselves up?
Surprisingly, no autopsy was ordered and the body was immediately dispatched to a funeral home ‘without’ the Warren family being notified. Police have since admitted they cut the tree down.
A month after the funeral. The Warren family had returned home from an outing, one of the relative’s wanted to see the tree in the back, where Keith was found. When they arrived at the spot, the tree had been mysteriously cut down without their knowledge.
On Keith’s birthday, his mother received a package, the package contained 5 official looking police photos which showed different angles of Keith hanging by the neck, wearing someone else’s clothing. Police have admitted they are official copies of the photo's taken by the investigating team.
The family hired a private investigator; who was instrumental in having the body exhumed. The Medical Examiner found high levels of TCE (potent chemical found in glue and solvents) in his body. This chemical is so potent; after digesting, you are dead before you hit the ground. The Forensic Pathologist stated, “I believe Keith Warren’s death being listed as a suicide is medically not supportable.” - information courtesy of

Coming Tomorrow:

A new post, and a new motto for the year 2011 as we head in to our 26th year of Keith's case being unsolved.

I'll have an interview with Keith's sister, Sherri, posted on the blog for everyone to read, along with a mission statement from both of us as we look to make this the last year Keith's death is labeled a suicide.

For those of you who continue to hide from the truth of that which you created for Keith, you know who you are; rest assured, the united families of Keith Warren, and the friends and supporters who have had to sit back all these years are here to say "No More."

More on this tomorrow as the Keith Warren Justice Site kicks off a new year, and a new thirst for justice.
